I think our baby is a genius. He constantly amazes us with how smart he is and how fast he picks up on things. He has gotten really good at figuring out how shapes go together. For instance he likes to put lids back on things, fit shapes into their corresponding holes, and stacking the rings on his toy. Oh, and he figured out that his finger fits perfectly up his nose. He's gotten really good at imitating us, making faces, and talking up a storm (even though we're not really sure what he's saying yet). His most recent discovery is figuring out how to play with his magnet fishing thing. He was so proud of himself.

On top of being a genius, he's gotten really cuddly lately and I love it. He likes to give hugs, and he loves to crawl up on top of stuff like blankets and stuffed animals and cuddle with it. I think it's so dang cute!

Well, of COURSE he is a genius. That doesn't surprise me at all. And even if he weren't, he could get by in life on his looks alone.

I think he is really smart for sure! I'm not saying JR isn't smart, but he gets too excited when we start stacking rings and ends up running off. Little stinker. Where did you get the magnetic fishing thing? Its so cute!I need one!
You are right. He is cute and brilliant. After John figured out that fingers fit in his nose, he experimented with other things that can fit in the nose. It is amazing what inquisitive little minds think of at such a young age.
