Change

Things are changing so much right now. Change is good... right? I mean, people are moving on and progressing, it's a good thing. I don't mind change in theory, but when it actually happens it's really hard for me. You think I'd be used to it. Provo is the home of everything unstable and temporary and I've been here for 8 years. But I'm not used to it. I'm a creature of habit. I do the same things every day. I have a morning and a night time routine that I follow pretty much every day. And now that we have Lucas my life is even less spontaneous. I've gotten very used to how things have been for the last year.

Now everything is changing. Some of the best friends I've ever had in a ward are moving. One of those girls is Carlie, and I'm really going to miss doing crafts and game nights with her. My older sister Julie bought a house, which is fantastic, and she will still be in Utah, but she's going to live 20 minutes away instead of 2 minutes away. I'm worried we won't see each other as often as we have been. Will chick flick Wednesday's continue? Will Lucas still be comfortable enough with her to do this?

And to top it all off, my sister Sheri is moving. She's lived right underneath me for almost two years, the last year we both had babies and spent many hours together every week. Whenever I was bored I always knew I could go down the stairs and hang out with her. I'm really going to miss having her here, going on walks, sitting in the grass. I hate change! Today was Lucas and Dallin's last day of living next door to each other. They celebrated by playing together.

Good bye last year. We will miss you.
