Sleeping Baby
Logan has slept the last three nights in his crib, and he stayed in his crib the whole night. Pretty much every night he was in the bassinet in our room he would usually end up in bed with me at some point. But since moving him to the crib he has slept all night in there, and has only gotten up once to eat during the night. Last night he slept from 9pm-5am. I'm counting that as his first time sleeping through the night. I know it's only three nights and he'll probably start sleeping terribly again in a few more days, but for now I will enjoy it.
I LOVE sleeping babies! They are just so cute and sweet when they are sleeping.
Probably on my top 10 list of favorite things. And they give me an excuse to take pictures of sleeping babies - another one of my favorite things!
I might be a little obsessed with taking pictures of sleeping babies.

Birthday Trip to the Aquarium
We decided to make a trip down to the aquarium the day after Paige's Birthday as a fun little family outing. My parents and John and his family came along. Before the aquarium we went out to eat at the Fish Hopper as is tradition. I wish I had remembered to take a picture of my meal. It was so pretty and delicious. I always love any excuse to get seafood since Ryan hates it and I hardly ever get to eat it. I ordered tuna and coconut shrimp, Ryan got a cheeseburger.
The kids always love going to aquariums and seeing aquatic life. The octopus was out and swimming around, it was so cool! It was too dark to get a good picture, though. Here's Paige and Lucas checking out some sharks.
And some other sea creatures.
Here was our favorite part, the Splash Zone. They dump water on this glass walled and ceiling-ed room to mimic waves. The kids love watching the water splash down and around them.
Okay, I guess more than just the kids love this part-we all loved it.
Here's a video of the kids giggling during the waves.
There were some cute penguins there that were really funny and interacting with the kids through the glass, but I didn't get any pictures of it. I'll have to get them from my dad some time.
Paige decided to take a rest in a big egg shell.
After the Aquarium we went to Ghirardeli to get ice cream.
Paige ate all the whipped cream off the top.
When we got back to the cars, my parents pulled out Paige's birthday present-a cute pink tricycle that she can reach the pedals on. She loves it!

And it's fun from the outside too.
Here's Paige and Lucas looking at a tank full of clownfish, you can kinda see Lucas in the top right corner.

It was such a fun day!
Happy Birthday Paige!!
We had a fun low-key day for Paige's birthday. Ryan got off work early and we just opened presents and had cupcakes. Lucas had so much fun helping me wrap the presents. She got a backpack for one of her presents and we thought it would be fun to put some wrapped presents inside the backpack and then wrap it.
Here she is ready to open presents. She had so much fun opening them. She really loved all the stuff she got too. I made her matching dresses for her and her Bitty Baby, just dress up dresses so they're not that fancy, but she was pretty excited about it. She was pretty excited about her backpack from grandma and grandpa George too.
She blew out her candles like a champ, and then proceeded to eat just the frosting off the top. She's so cute!

Lucas's and Paige's New Room
We finally moved Paige into Lucas's room to free up the nursery for Logan. We were really nervous to make the change, but so far it's actually been totally fine. It took probably an extra 20 minutes to put them down the first night, maybe an extra 5 the second night, and the two nights since then they have gone right down. Hopefully they keep this up. Lucas was so sweet the first night. He climbed in to bed with Paige to snuggle with her so she wouldn't be lonely. They are so cute sometimes.
I really like their room, although I do wish I could do more with it. It's hard to decorate with where the windows are placed. I wanted to do something above the beds or at least on the wall between the beds, but there really isn't a place for it with the window there. The room is a bit cramped too, but it works.
Here's Paigey's adorable tiny little bed.
And Lucas's cute bed. I LOVE his sheets.
Like I said, it's a little cramped, but not too bad.
For right now all their clothes fit in this dresser. Not sure what I'll do when Paige's clothes get bigger and take up more space. Hopefully we'll have a bigger house by then.
And here's their play kitchen that they love.
A "P" for Paige and an "L" for Lucas.
I totally staged this for the picture. It made me laugh to have it all set up like this. :)
I love these pictures I took of Lucas and Paige that we put up on the wall.
We installed the baby monitor up in the top corner so we can pretty much see the whole room. Comes in handy to see if Paige is staying in bed or not.
It's simple but I love it!
