More Halloween

Lucas went to his first Primary activity yesterday. We had a Halloween party. His two best friends were there and he had a blast.

Trying to eat candy with Trey.

Eating doughnuts. He ate so much sugar yesterday.

They get into so much trouble together.

Crawling on the floor with Benson.

He has a new found love of balloons... and candy.

Happy Halloween

We found this cute little lion while we were on safari.

Block Towers

I spend a good portion of my day building towers for Lucas to knock over. Usually I'm lucky if I can stack 4 blocks on top of each other before he knocks it over. But sometimes he gets distracted and I get a big tower going. I've gotten pretty creative.

I had to take both these pictures as fast as I could because in both cases he knocked them over 3 seconds after the picture was taken.

Baking Weather

It has been rainy and cold for the last few days. Whenever the weather gets like this I have the urge to bake. I used this....
And made these....

Another added bonus is that the oven warmed up the house so I still don't have to turn on the heater.

Playing With Cousins

Yesterday I went and babysat my niece and nephew at their house. I'm just going to come out and say it... I ROCKED at taking care of three kids! I can't really take all the credit, though. These kids were just so cute and well behaved; it was hard not to have fun.

The kids all played so well together. I think Lucas actually liked being there better than being at home. The car was his favorite.

But the tricycle was a close second. I think we need one of these.

We stopped playing just long enough to have a little snack.

And then it was time for trains....

And Lightsabers...

We need to do this more often.

Disneyland

Finally the Disneyland post. Prepare for lots of pictures in no particular order....

On the drive out there - Lucas reading his book.

In front of the "L" for Lucas.

More cute pumpkin heads.

Bret, Julie, Mom, and Mark on Thunder Mountain Railroad.
You can see Bret really well when you click on the photo.

Me and Julie - we're a little more blurry.

Waiting in line.

Ready to blast off.

Lucas and I waiting.

We did a lot of waiting.

Getting a ride from uncle Bret.

Lucas loved the Finding Nemo ride. It was his favorite.

This really stupid caterpillar ride was the only ride that Lucas sat by himself for.
Every other ride he insisted on being on my lap.

We stopped and played with this big ball while everyone was on Space Mountain.

Getting a drink.

Lucas passed out in the stroller. Playing at Disneyland is very exhausting.

A parade that we stopped to watch. Lucas kinda liked it.
That and the pretzels he was eating.

We ditched the baby with mom at the hotel the first night
and went back to play and watch CAPTAIN EO in 3D!

We rode the rockets.

And we played the Astro Blasters game.

Lucas stopped to make a phone call.

We got to see World of Colors the last night we were there. It was really cool, but there were no seats and after spending two days on my feet I was just anxious to get home.

Bret and Julie in front of the fireworks.
This is a pretty bad picture, but I thought it was funny.

And here we are enjoying some Beniets for breakfast before the long drive home.

Enjoying a short walk with Bret outside the car. We needed a break.
