Getting Ready for Halloween

I'm not sure how, but we've never carved a pumpkin with Lucas before.  This year we decided it was about time to show them what pumpkin carving is all about.
We cut the pumpkin open and Lucas was pretty disgusted by what was inside.
Paige on the other hand kept trying to eat it.  Carving the pumpkin with the kids was a little tricky, which is I supposed why we've never done it before.  The face got a little crooked with kids pulling on stuff, but I think it turned out pretty good.
We tried on our Halloween costumes to take pictures and make sure we have everything we need.  I always take pictures before the big night so we're not stressed out trying to take pictures and trick or treat at the same time.
Lucas makes a great Iron-man, as always.
Paige is the cutest little ladybug in the world.
She thought her pumpkin was the coolest thing in the world.  Once she got a hold of it she wouldn't let it go.
I love her fat bum in her costume.  She would have walked around holding that pumpkin for hours.
They're ready for trick-or-treating.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch for a preschool field trip last week.  Ryan had work off that day so he got to come with us.  Aside from the fact that I'm in some of the pictures, meaning he was taking the picture, there isn't any other proof that he was there.  Sorry sweetie.  We had a fun time, though.  My sister Sarah and baby Olivia were visiting and came with us and the cousins had a fun time together.

Feeding the goats and sheep.
 Taking silly pictures.
Picking out our pumpkins.
And of course, climbing on the hay bales.
Preschool group.
Paige and Lucas this year.
Paige and Lucas last year.  Paige looked a lot smaller back then.
Paige and Olivia!
Fun was had by all!

Big Girl

Paige is getting to be such a big girl.  When I'm rocking her in her rocking chair it's always a shock to me how big she is compared to the tiny little thing we brought home from the hospital.  She's big enough for a forward facing car seat now.
She likes to climb up on her step stool and brush her teeth too.
She is climbing everything these days and getting into big girl sized trouble.  She even threw a big girl tantrum today.

Paige is a champion eater thanks to her getting her teeth so quickly.  She has 8 teeth already and is getting 4 molars right now.  They have all finally popped through so hopefully she will stop being so grumpy soon. She loves to eat, though, and will often fall asleep eating in the car.  She just keeps shoving food into her mouth until she's so tired she can't lift her hand.  Here she is eating an apple and she's basically asleep already.  In fact, as soon as I turned off the camera, I picked her up to take her to bed and she was already out.

13 Months

I decided to switch things up from the usual pictures we were doing every month.  Paige wasn't really into holding still and laying down anymore.
I don't know where this beautiful grown up girl came from, but she is definitely not a little baby anymore.
She has such a funny little personality of her own.  She's so sweet and loves to play with her brother.  She's pretty smart too.  And she's getting ready to move out of her infant car seat.  She is so big!

Also, Lucas and Paige love apples!  They have been gobbling them up lately.
Paige finally has enough teeth to really enjoy them.  She ate a whole apple all by herself today.
