Lately...

I have been taking a lot of photos with my cell phone lately, because it is way too hard to keep track of two crazy babies, everything else I have to carry with me everywhere I go, and also a big SLR camera.  I usually post the cell phone photos to facebook and instagram because it's just easier, but I want to try to keep up to date on the blog, because I like my blog.  Anyway, some of these photos may be repeats for those of you that follow me on those other site, but whatever.

We've had a lot of lazy, snuggly mornings.  Our kids have actually slept in till 7:30 or 8 some mornings this summer, which is very unusual for them, and a fun treat for me and Ryan.

We have also spent a lot of time going on family bike rides.  Lucas and Paige love their double trailer we found on craigslist.

We go on a lot of walks in the trailer too.  We've had some pretty mild weather overall this summer and it has been nice to get out and enjoy it.  Here's Paige enjoying the nice weather at the park on the slide.  She loves slides.

We have had some really hot weather too, though.  When it gets good and hot we like to cool off at the pool.

 We also went down to grandma and grandpa Crapo's pool.  Lucas learned to go under water.  Sorry the video is all tall and skinny.  I keep forgetting to turn my phone when I do videos.

We have some new friends that moved in near by that we have been going on walks in the morning with and having play dates.  The other day they came over to play in the pool and have popsicles.  We have been very into popsicles lately.

 Paige loves the tricycle.  She's not quite big enough to reach the pedals, but she's got the hang of the bell.  Also, same thing with the video, sorry...

Lucas has always loved broccoli.  Here he is going back for seconds.  That's my boy!

And the last of the random photos from the last month or so, is Paige's first hair cut.  Lucas decided it was time for a trim.  I am so sad!  But, it really isn't too bad.  We can't do pony tails anymore, but Paige refused to keep them in her hair anyway so it's about the same.

I can't believe the summer is almost over.  Kids are starting to go back to school, and we're going to be starting preschool again here soon.  And Paige's first birthday is in 2 and a half weeks!  Time flies when you're having fun!

11 Months

Wow, 11 months!  I can't believe how quickly Paige's first year is flying by.  I better start planning her birthday party pronto.  She is still a little unstable looking when she walks, which I love because she looks so cute, but she hardly ever falls anymore.  I think it's because she has these tiny little dainty feet, and they just aren't big enough to balance on.  She has been clapping and waving for a few months now, but I realized I hadn't put that on any of the previous months.  She knows the words now, though, and will clap and wave just if you ask her, without having to show her.  She's a smart little girl.  Her talking isn't super clear, but when she gets a hold of my cell phone, she puts it up to her ear and says, hello.  I don't even know how she's picked up on that so early on, but I love it! 

Paige is getting another tooth right now, so she was a little grumpy while I was taking pictures.  I think she's so adorable scrunched into a ball and chewing on her finger in this picture. We sure do love this little angel.

Family Pictures

We had our family pictures taken on Saturday.  We got some pretty good ones.

 She got some great smiles out of Lucas.

 Paige is darling no matter what, thanks to good genes, and a beautiful dress, but I do wish we could have gotten some bigger smiles out of her.
