Peach Pie

I decided to make a peach pie, but I did a little twist on the traditional pie and added a crumble topping. I used my dad's pie crust recipe. It's the best. I roll my dough out between two sheets of plastic wrap. This eliminates the need to flour the counter so you don't end up with too much flour in your dough; and it's a whole lot easier.

Perfect every time.

Then I made the peach mixture, and Lucas and I ate a bunch of peaches while we were at it. They are sooooooo yummy!!

While the pie was baking, Lucas got a hold of the camera and took a few pictures.

And then viola! Peach pie for breakfast. Okay, maybe I'll wait for lunch. Now I just need to make some vanilla ice cream to go with it.

I don't even like peaches, but that looks amazing! That plastic wrap idea is brilliant! And it's been way too long since I've seen you. We should do something soon (I think I say that every time I comment on your blog) :)

I'm so jealous that you can pick fresh peaches right off grandma's tree and make a delicious pie with them. Peach pie is my favorite. The pie you made looks beautiful. Good job, Kratens!

Peach pie is easily one of my favorite pies ever. That looks incredibly good. I wish I had a place to pick peaches around here.
