Really Blogger?

I hate those word verification things.  Apparently I am part robot because I can't ever get them right.  And that was back when you only had to figure out like 5 letters.  Now it's like a whole paragraph.  I mean really, what does this even say?
And do that many people really have robots trying to comment on their blogs?  Maybe my blog is just not very interesting to robots, cause we don't have the word verification and I never get robots commenting.  Although, I will admit that I just googled these things to figure out what they were called (I know Ryan's brother knows, but I can't find it right now and I really only have like 3 minutes to dedicate to this post), anyway, there were quite a few people out there complaining about the word verification but they also said that they do get spam from robots so they can't turn it off.  Apparently some people do need it.

I just wish it wasn't so hard to pass the test.  When I have something super funny and witty to say and then after three tries of getting the word verification wrong it finally goes through... it just doesn't give me the same satisfaction.  Or even worse when I don't have something super witty to say, I was just commenting for the fun of it, but I can't get it to post so I usually just give up.  I wish robots would stop trying to rain on my parade; they ruin everything!

I agree!!! I usually give up on trying to comment and just copy and paste the comment onto their facebook wall or something :)

I hate those word verification things. Especially when they pop up in the next window after you've already typed a comment and pressed "publish." You think you're all done and then this word verification comes from nowhere. By that point, I'm already second guessing the humor in my comment and end up deleting it.

Ya, these things are SUPER annoying. I don't have them and I have robots commenting them, but Blogger has this spam detection thing, so it collects all the spam messages without posting them I just delete them. Why doesn't everyone just do that?

AMEN. I turned it off on my blog and have never had a spam comment. Maybe robots do not read my blog.
