Exploratorium

Over President's Day weekend we went to check out the Exploratorium.  There was a lot more stuff for Lucas to do than I thought there would be.  He was allowed to touch and climb on pretty much everything.
He loved the distorted room and he ran around in there for a good 20 minutes.
We played with the bubbles.  Ryan got pretty good at making ones big enough to surround Lucas.
Lucas tried to do it too.  I think the bubbles were his favorite.
There was a duck pond outside the Exploratorium.  Lucas loved watching the ducks.  He refused to look at the camera for a picture because he didn't want to miss one second of looking at them.
He and daddy chased the ducks for a long time.
And then he finally agreed to take a picture with mommy to prove that I was actually there.
We had a lot of fun there.  We will definitely be going back again soon.

The Exploratorium is one of my favorite places! I hope you enjoyed some Ghirardelli as long as you were in the area.

Gee, that would be a great background for some professional portraits! The bubbles look fun.

It looks like I'm constipated in that bubble photo.

By the way, I'm wincing at the expected bubble burst...trying to shield my eyes from the blast of soap that will inevitably blind me and sting for days.
