Lucas and I have both been sick for the past few days. It's definitely a different experience being sick and having a sick baby. In some ways it's harder because you can't always rest when you need to and you're all stuffy and a crying baby doesn't help your headache, but in other ways it's easier because I care so much about Lucas that I just feel bad for him and want him to be happy and it takes my mind off of being sick. He is kinda funny when he's sick. He's still happy sometimes, but he goes from being happy to really mad pretty much instantly. He really likes his medicine, though. :) He is his daddy's son.
Here he is being happy.

And here he is being angry.

This morning he was throwing a fit so I set him down to grab something and all of a sudden he just stopped crying. I turned around and he was just laying there watching TV. He's a lazy boy.

The video in the last post of Lucas rolling over was taken last week. On Tuesday of this week he decided he could roll over the other way too. Now we're going to have to be more careful where we put him down.
Look how proud he is of himself.

I love how relaxed he looks just lounging and watching tv.
Yeah, the first time they roll off the couch is quite scary, but they survive. He is so cute! Love the squishy thighs.
He is so DAAANG cute! I love the one where you can see his cute little legs! Oh I love baby legs. Our whole family has a cold, so we kinda know how you feel. Our focus is all on baby Brooks who is pretty dramatic about the whole thing, no time for ourselves. Oh... and I love the pic of him after he rolled over. Brooks was the same way, SOOO proud of himself once he finally did it. So fun.
Oh my goodness! I can't believe he can roll over on both sides! He must be advanced for his age.
What a cute smile too. Sorry you guys have been sick. Hopefully you get better before your trip.
You were sick! I'm so sorry. Did you get it from Ryan? I hope you guys are feeling better now. So exciting that he can roll over though. Now you just have to worry about what you've got laying around the house.
Katie - I found your blog from Curtis' blog. I hope you don't mind I peaked. You're baby is so cute!
