I can not believe our baby is 4 months old, and yet I feel like we've had him a lot longer than 4 months. Everyday he seems so much more advanced than the day before and he's constantly surprising me with how smart and how strong he is. He's rolling all over the place and starting to get into things, he's starting to try sitting up, he follows objects and people and turns to look at you when you're talking, and he reaches for everything including dad when he gets home from work which is just about the cutest thing I've seen in my entire life. He's also a really social baby. He loves to smile and laugh at people, and even when he's super fussy, if someone new comes over to say hi, he gives them a huge smile. The other day I was checking out at the grocery store and apparently Lucas was just flirting it up with the two girls in line behind me. I turned around to find him smiling and laughing at them and they were drooling all over him. I can already tell he's going to be a ladies man.
He's also growing so much. We went to his 4 month check up yesterday. He's 15 1/2 lbs and 26 inches long. He's almost grown out of all his 0-3 month clothes. I miss some of his old outfits, but it's also fun getting to try some new things on him. This is one that Ryan and I got almost 2 years ago. We saw it at the store and knew we had to get it for our future baby who was bound to be a genius engineer. No pressure Lucas. :)

Cute pictures. I like the one of you and Lucas together. It never works out when I try to take pictures of myself. I always end up looking distorted (or, maybe I really AM distorted...). Anyway, I'm pretty sure Lucas already is a genius. And I'm pretty sure its hereditary and he gets it from me! (picture one of those smiley emoticon thingies here...)
Plus, if he's anything like his mama he'll be walking in four more months. Then he'll really be getting into things. You better bolt down that TV!

I can't believe you guys bought baby clothes 2 years ago... if that's the case then it's a miracle that you waited as long as you did.
It's so fun to watch these babies learn and grow and change everyday.
I'm really bad at taking pics of myself too! My sisters all have really nice cameras...with those little cheater remotes... i'm kinda jealous.
Lucas is so cute! I love watching him grow!
He is definitely a little cutie. He has changed so much in the last four months.
Of COURSE he's a genius (and will be in the future, as well). Can't wait to cuddle with him..
