Lucas has discovered a new favorite seat. He loves to sit in the laundry basket. Especially when it's filled with warm clothes fresh from the dryer.
When the basket is empty he still likes to climb in, but then he has a hard time getting out without tipping the basket over. So, he'll climb into the basket and then whine for me to come get him out, and then 10 seconds later he'll be in the basket again whining for me to help him out. I don't know what to do with him sometimes. We've also been practicing our Guitar Hero lately. Lucas is pretty good.
I feel like we've been so busy lately but I have nothing to show for it. I guess maybe that's just Ryan's schedule rubbing off on me. We're getting really excited for the upcoming holiday's, though. We have our anniversary, then Thanksgiving, then our little vacation, and then as soon as we get back from Austin we leave for Christmas in California. The rest of our year is very packed, but it's packed with excitement. Life is good right now. I feel like I'm getting excited for Christmas a lot earlier this year than normal. I find myself singing Christmas songs to Lucas when I put him to bed. I think they are his favorite. :)

That shrimp sure looks good. Warm clothes in a laundry basket sounds good to me, too. That's probably a place I might find Zsa Zsa and Sasha.
Mmm... I don't even like shrimp and that dinner looks yummy :) Lucas is so cute! I like the laundry basket story. I used to like to sleep in the laundry basket when I was little... like 6... so not really little enough. AND I miss guitar hero - even though I'm horrible at it. We need to play again soon with the husbands.
I'm getting so excited for Christmas too! If I could fit in a laundry basket, I would get in one that was full of warm blankets too.
The dinner looks great. We should have several laundry baskets for Lucas to play in when you get to California. I am excited about making pies Wednesday night.
Oh, the cuteness that is Lucas! He is such a fun little boy. I love him!
I completely forgot to wish you a happy anniversary last week. I think I have been too distracted with "my chores"... How about a happy belated anniversary? Have you really been married four whole years??
I think I need to challenge Lucas to some guitar hero during Christmas. I've been practicing. I haven't been practicing my laundry basket racing though. I'll work on that.
What a busy little blogger you've been lately! This is my life everyday-- eating dinner alone and trying to entertain Ezra until daddy gets home.
Happy anniversary and Thanksgiving. Will we see you at Christmas?
