We had a fun Easter this year. We went to a couple of different Easter egg hunts and the kids had a lot of fun gathering up eggs and eating yummy treats. We went to one at a community park where they had different hunts for different age groups. Paige's age group was much more laid back than Lucas's group. Paige really got the hang of the idea and she got so many eggs much faster than a lot of the other babies.
Lucas's age group was a little more aggressive, but he still managed to get a good amount of eggs.
Such cute little kids. There was a cool rope playground there that they had fun climbing on.
And it was windy so we decided to fly the kite for a bit.
On Easter morning the kids woke up and found their Easter baskets.
I put muffins in there too but Paige thought Oreos would make a better breakfast.
They love juice boxes!
My parents came up to visit for the day but somehow I didn't get any pictures with them. After they got there we went out and did another little egg hunt in our yard. You can see my dad's feet in this picture and that's the only proof I have that they were even there.
Lucas found his eggs a little faster than Paige so he helped her find the rest of hers. So cute!
Displaying their loot.My parents came to church with us where we heard some beautiful Easter messages. After church we came back to the smell of the ham and cheesy potatoes cooking in the oven. We prepared a few more sides and an apple pie, and then we sat down to dinner. Ham and cheesy potatoes is probably my all time favorite holiday meal, and my kids love both carrots and broccoli so everyone was happy.
We hope you all had a happy Easter!

They are both adorable! Did you take that last picture? Is that another backdrop you have?
