Paige is not a huge fan of the vacuum. She is terrified of it. When I get the vacuum out she just sits there perfectly still and watches that thing like a hawk. If I stay far enough away from her, she just sits and watches, but if I get too close, like within 5 feet, all of a sudden she lunges in the other direction and crawls frantically to get away. Sometimes I forget how afraid of the vacuum she is. The other day I got out the vacuum and turned it on right next to her without thinking. She lunged away and crawled over to Lucas's lap and laid her head down on him and just sat there until I turned the vacuum off. It was seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen. Now I usually have Lucas sit with Paige while I'm vacuuming so that he can protect her. He's such a good big brother.

I'm surprised Paige is afraid of the vacuum because Scott loves it so much. She's lucky she has a brother to help her out.
How cute that she knew Lucas would protect her. Connor loves the vacuum and is always following me and getting in the way when I vacuum. He'll plop himself down on the carper and won't move, so I'll have big "circles" of un-vacuumed carpet around him.
That's funny. When Micah is really cranky and I can't get anything else done I vacuum because he likes it so much.
