New Baby

For Christmas this year I got this amazing machine.
It's everything I wanted and more. It took me a few hours to figure out how to use it, but now I can pretty much make anything I want. Here's a few of the things I've made so far.

I found a picture on the internet of this curly butterfly and I just brought it into the silhouette software and cut it out. It is so easy to use.

I can use any font on my computer I want, and I can join the letters together so I don't have to glue down each letter individually.

This one was a special request by Ryan.

And just some cute Thank You notes, I decided to make. I cut out everything on these using the machine.

I have a friend that's going to teach me how to use the machine to cut out fabric. I think I might have to try out appliquéd onesies and quilts for my next projects.

I love it! Do you realize that Laura Giddens works for that company? She's one of their designers. Will you teach me how to cut out the fabric? I have a cricut, and I really want to try cutting fabric. I've actually looked up how to do it, but I've never gotten around to trying it!

Wow, it cuts out fabric too. That is awesome! We need to go sledding together sometime too. We haven't been yet this winter and Trey loves it.

I'm really jealous right now. Did Ryan give you that? I didn't even think to ask for such a thing for Christmas and I'm realizing that I should have. Do you read homemadebyjill? I think you guys know her from St. Louis. I love the party decor she does with her Silhouette. If you lived closer I would totally be borrowing it for Sadie's birthday.

Cool! That's definitely fun like the Cricut!

Oh and PS- my best friend from HS runs Little Birdie Secrets (well she and a few of her friends in Seattle)- um she's pretty much amazing.
