The Botanical Gardens

The Missouri botanical gardens has seriously always been one of my favorite places. I've always loved plants and flowers and secret gardens, and this place is just full of all of that. So when we were deciding where to go while we were out in St. Louis, the botanical gardens was at the top of the list.

My brother John just had surgery, so he had to be wheeled around by Becky.

The babies took advantage of this and had fun taking turns getting a ride. Lucas got to drink his bottle on his ride.

Lucas was in heaven! He loves being outside and he loves to touch plants.

He also loved all the attention he got from his cousins...

His grandparents...

And most of all his uncle Bret.

All babies love Bret.

While we were at the park, we stopped to get lunch. Lucas had fun eating this lemon. He is definitely his mother's son.

My favorite part of the botanical gardens, is the Japanese Garden. It is so beautiful!

The Japanese garden has cool bridges to walk on...

And secret gardens with places to rest and play.


We will be bringing Lucas back here every chance we get.
