Fall

I love fall. I love when the trees change color and when you get to start wearing sweaters again. I love hot chocolate, and cuddling under blankets. I LOVE apple pie and pumpkin pie and other autumn foods. I love soup!

Except now that the weather is cooling off and it's officially fall, I am not very happy. I guess I've just gotten so used to letting my baby run around naked with no pants or socks or anything. When ever he gets cranky and I can't figure out what's wrong I can always go outside and sit in the grass or go for a walk around the block and he will calm right down. But it just got too cold too fast - I can't sit in the grass - I don't want to even go outside cause I'm a big baby when it comes to the cold - and I was realizing the other day that Lucas doesn't have pants. He had pants in 0-3 months, but none in any larger sizes except for some sweat pants. So either my baby will be cold, or look like a hobo. And right now it's just fall, what am I going to do in the winter? :( I miss the summer.

So because it has been getting really cold lately and I haven't been able to go on walks everyday, I took advantage of the nice warm weather we had the other day and went on a walk. Sheri and Sarah came with me and we went to play at a new park a couple blocks from our apartment.

Here's the whole group.

Here we are on the slides.

Here we are on the swings

Then we had a brilliant idea.

Both babies loved it!

And also, because it has been cold lately, I've been putting shoes on Lucas more often. He thinks they are toys. He likes to eat them.

I love how happy they were in the swing. We'll have to do that again!

I love fall too. It's my favorite season.

Is it really that cold in Utah right now? Am I going to go through temperature shock? It's SO HOT here right now (September and October are the hottest months) that I hope we don't get there next week and have a huge shock.

What a brilliant idea you had with the swings. They look so happy swinging together. Lucas is sure having a good time eating his shoes. Very cute blog post. It's nice to have a park close by that you can walk to. Sarah is pretty good at helping with the babies. You are lucky to have her around from time to time!

Oh those legs are too cute with nothing but shoes on them. I can't believe you got both of them in a swing! That is pretty funny. Also, I always forget how much you Crapo sisters look alike, but heavens, you three could be twins - I mean, triplets!
